My songs and poems mix fun with ‘serious’ social comment, intended to provide thought-provoking entertainment. This website includes audio clips of my songs and lyric texts, as well as a couple of poems to give you an idea of my work.

I have also written three full-length musicals with strong Yorkshire themes. The community musical Saltairy Tales 2005 and its update Saltairy Tales 2006 were a central feature of Saltaire Festival .

My first musical entitled Bells gained an award from Yorkshire Playwrights (which has now been renamed Script Yorkshire). It has been rewritten for presentation in 2008, at Saltaire Festival and in Haworth (see news page)
